BJARNE MELGAARD (b. 1967) was educated at the National Academy of Fine Arts in Oslo, the Jan Van Eyck Academy in Maastricht, and the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam. With great success both in Norway and internationally — including exhibitions at the Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art, Gagosian, and Greene Naftali Gallery in New York — Bjarne Melgaard has established himself as one of Norway’s most prominent international artists.
